Programs That Actually Teach

Programs that actually teach something

Our kids and teen programs are built around three things modern childhood doesn't get enough of: nature, real food, and using your hands.

This isn't a petting zoo with a snack bar. Kids leave EkkoFarm having actually done things.

What we host

Six distinct formats built around the school year and the moments that matter — from a class excursion to a birthday party or a summer camp.

  • School trips & class excursions

Open days where kids harvest, plant and meet the animals alongside their parents.

  • Birthday parties on the farm

A proper outdoor party with farm activities, a harvest hunt and farm-baked snacks.

  • Holiday camps & summer programs

Multi-day camps during school holidays for ages 8–18.

  • Teen workshops

Older kids dive deeper into organic growing, nutrition, cooking from scratch and sustainability.

What kids actually do here

A day at EkkoFarm is more than looking. Kids touch, taste, cook and explore — across four distinct settings throughout the day.

On the land

  • ·Harvest seasonal fruit and vegetables straight from the fields
  • ·Plant seedlings and learn how food grows from seed to plate
  • ·Walk the orchards and learn to identify trees, fruits and herbs
  • ·Understand composting, soil, water and how an organic farm works

With the animals

  • ·Meet the geese, chickens and other farm animals
  • ·Collect fresh eggs from the henhouse
  • ·Learn how animals are cared for on a working farm

In the kitchen

  • ·Wash, prep and cook with what they've just harvested
  • ·Learn what healthy, seasonal eating actually tastes like
  • ·Bake bread, make jam, press juice — depending on the season

Outdoors and active

  • ·Run, explore and play in safe, open countryside
  • ·Treasure hunts, harvest challenges and team games
  • ·Pool access in warmer months (with supervision)

Why parents and schools choose EkkoFarm

Most kids today have never seen a chicken lay an egg, watched a tomato ripen, or tasted a strawberry warm from the sun. EkkoFarm gives them that — and a lot more.

Not a lecture — a day of doing.

  • Screen-free, fully outdoors

Kids return tired, fed and genuinely happy.

  • Small group ratios

Supervised activities led by experienced staff.

  • Curriculum-aligned options

For school groups in Spanish, English and German.

  • Safe environment

Fenced farm, trained staff, clear group management.

  • Multilingual sessions

Spanish, English or German for international schools.

What Families & Schools Say

Farm days kids remember

We brought a third-grade class for an educational visit and the kids wouldn't stop talking about it for weeks. They picked tomatoes, met the chickens and cooked what they had harvested. Real learning, not just an outing.

We hosted our son's 8th birthday at the farm. The kids came home tired, muddy and absolutely delighted. Zero screen time for four hours — a miracle.

As an international school we needed bilingual sessions and a provider who understood our curriculum. EkkoFarm fitted perfectly — English-language sessions, curriculum-aligned content and all the paperwork sorted.
